Obituary of Beverly J. Poletti
Beverly Poletti graciously began her new life in heaven on Sept. 26th.
Born in Eagle Grove, Iowa on Jan 12th 1933 to Lawrence and Isabel Sadler. She and her family arrived in CA in 1944 from Louisiana. Bev attended Hollister Grammar School and San Benito High. She met the love of her life, the late Leonard Poletti while attending San Benito High School. They were married in June of 1950.
Beverly enjoyed being a stay at home mom and once her children were school age she then started an in home day care service for many years along with taking in ironing for various residents of Hollister. Later she became employed by Southside Hospital then later transferred over to Hazel Hawkins Hospital. In 1979 she went to work for Dr. Tabibian until her retirement.
Anyone who was lucky enough to have met Beverly knew they had a sweet, gentle, tender, caring friend for life. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone and would do it while flashing her beautiful infectious smile.
When the time finally arrived that Bev & Leonard became grandparents in 1977 they were both over the moon with pride and joy. Beverly was a strong supporter of her grandchildren for years in all their school activities and sporting events.
Bev was a devote Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Church and St Benedicts. She enjoyed watching the Giants baseball games and working around her home & yard and having her family close by.
Surviving family members are son, Dennis Poletti (Nada), daughter Linda Keller (Keith), Grandsons: Ryan Keller (Cari), Aaron Keller (Alex), Jace Poletti (Brooke), Tamara Malekos (Steven), Tyler Poletti (Katie); 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Bonnie Moore and Shirley Ruiz; sister-in-law Helen Casillas and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and her special pup Chico.
