Obituary of Ralph Joseph Leyva Sr.

Ralph, 90, passed away with dignity in Salt Lake City, UT due to causes incident to age. Born in Hollister, CA, Ralph proudly served in the US Navy for the duration of World War II and the Korean War and will be remembered for his passion for the Oakland Raiders and horseracing. Ralph married Clara (Castro-Leyva) in Hollister, CA on February 2, 1952. Ralph is survived by his wife, Clara; children, Ralph Jr., Valerie and Frank; grandchildren, Felipe, Ralph III, Delilah, Yvonne, Anna and Frank Jr.; great-grandchildren, Linda, Isaac and Ralph IV; and his sister, Lucy (Sanchez). Funeral Arrangements: Friday, May 20, 2016, at 12:00 P.M., Grunnagle Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA 95023 Burial will follow at 1: 00 p.m. at San Juan District Cemetery - Family Plot, followed by a reception
