Obituary of Robert "Bob" De Noris
Robert "Bob" De Noris passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was born on March 15, 1948 in Peekskill, New York to Angelo and Patricia De Noris. He attended Peekskill High School and graduated in 1965. While in high school Bob worked part-time in men's clothing in New York. He took pride in the way he dressed and was always complimented on his tasteful appearance. After high school Robert went to work for International Business Machines (IBM). He worked several jobs at IBM and advanced to the position of lab technician in waste water treatment. He retired after serving 30 years with the company. Never one to stay idle he worked a few part-time jobs. His favorite one was working with Grunnagle Funeral Home. He
worked there for 14 years. Bob had a passion for golf. He was a member of Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. He would play every chance he could. He always commented on how much he loved the game.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Alice De Noris, his son David (Laurie) of Croton, New York and step-sons, Mark Ruiz and Adam Bautista. Bob hadsix grandchildren: Christopher De Noris, Alyssa Bautista, Stephen Bautista, Laura Bautista, Jack Kirk IV and Madison Kirk. He is also survived by his siblings: Mike (Marie) De Noris (Ossining, New York) and Tricia (Bruce) Ryan (Peekskill, New York) his son-in-law, Jack Kirk III, daughter-in-law, Joel Kirk and great-grandchilden Khloee Baker and Noel Carrillo. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, May 16th, family and friends will meet at Sacred Heart Church at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of the Resurrection. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A reception will be held at Ridgemark Golf and Country Club.
