Obituary of Delores J. Madden

Delores J. Madden passed away in Los Gatos, California on April 29th, 2019 at the age of 81 years.

Delores “Jean” Madden was born on June 8th 1937 to Ralph and Alpha Hulett. She grew up on a farm in Chariton County Missouri. Even today it only has a population less than 8,000. Her parents moved to California when she and her older sister Wanda were in grade school. They settled in the San Jose area, moving a few times here and there.

Jean attended Fremont high school, graduating in 1955. She married a year later to Leon Madden. Moving several times they settle in 1963 where they raised their two children, Denise and Dennis. They lived there until there divorce in 1983.

She moved a couple of times but always stayed near “home”. She worked as a book keeper for a time and enjoyed spending time with friends she met as a teen ager and young adult. She was a jokester and fun to be with. She lived near Los Gatos for the last 15 years of her life.

She is survived by her children, Denise Johnson and Dennis Madden, her granddaughter and husband, Tanya and Austin Cooper and Niece and husband Marilyn and Bud Perrotta.

She was a kind soul, a giving person and she will be dearly missed.
