Jimmy, Judy and Jeanne,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother. She was a wonderful person. It has been a while since I last saw her, but when I think of her I can see the beautiful smile. She and your dad raised a wonderful and loving family. What a wonderful legacy they have left. You have so many great memories of her. You are in our prayers during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
Mary and Jose Martinez

What a nice person. I have known Rose just about my entire life. Her and my mother, along with several other wives would be in the stands watching their husbands play fastpitch softball at Vet's Park. She always ask how everyone is doing and ask where everyone is now days. I saw Rose with Judy out at Eva Mae's Cafe in Tres Pinos several months ago. RIP Rose. My condolences to the Stephens family.

Auntie Chute I will always remember how fun you were. I came to stay with you for one school year and got in trouble for coming home drunk, what a lesson because I was so sick the next day. You grounded me I still remember that day 50 plus years ago today. But you still loved me, thank you for that. You will live in our hearts forever, you were a wonderful mom, auntie, grandmother, sister, friend to so many. Besides being a wonderful cook making sure we all had a full tummy, you were the life of the party. May you rest in God's loving arms and dance with the angels.

I had the privilege of meeting Grandma Rose back in 1994 when I would go over and swim at her house with her grandson and friends. Her door was always open and she would have food and drinks ready within minutes. Her love for me and others was instant. When Donnie and I started dating in 2007, she became my grandma as well. We would talk on the phone and hang out at her house. Grandma always had a party or an occasion to celebrate and the family would all be invited. So many memories of time spent with her.
Grandma was the example of love without condition, giving with a thought to herself, and she was always busy with helping others, working hard. Her death hit us hard and she is missed more than any words can express.
Love you Grandma! See you up there!!

Grandma Rose will be missed by many generations of family and friends who she so deeply impacted with her infectious laughter, charisma, encouragement and tremendous love for all. She was the single greatest person I have ever met or known in this world and with mixed pain and happiness I say goodbye to you granny. I know you're in a better place and that we'll all see you again someday when we go to your eternal home, but right now missing you hurts deeply and I can't help but feel cheated by this crazy pandemic.
Growing up with grandma Rose I had the chance to see how the kindest lady in the world lived, rivaled perhaps only by her mother Carmen. Grandma spent every minute doing something for others, whether it was looking after sick people or elderly people with no family or who were in need, or just taking time to spend speaking words of encouragement and kindness through her stories and her peculiar way that she so easily talked and connected with people. She was a wonderful cook who loved entertaining any amount of company. She worked hard her whole life and always had fun while doing it, she never complained about anything but in everything she did she put on a positive attitude and forged ahead with laughter and a fun spirit. When we were kids we had time to play a lot of golf with her and I remember while we played she always picked up cans for recycling to make a few extra dollars (which she would always use to do something nice for somebody else), she was always staying busy and doing some kind of project. A lot of her time was spent in the garden. As kids she would plant any vegetable that a grandkid showed interest in as she was quick to please anyone in any way she knew how.
Grandma loved everyone and whenever we'd talk on the phone, especially in later years when the family and I had to move away from California, she'd give the complete rundown of all her kids and grandkids to include what they're up to that week or season and how they're doing. She loved talking about her family and often reminisced about her brothers and sisters and how they grew up in a loving household, full of hard-work and life's trials but full of love and fun nonetheless. She talked of simpler times without a lot of material possession and would say how happy she was even without much in regards to material wealth, she saw it as something that wasn't needed to live life to the fullest. She truly helped me to learn how to live life to the fullest and how to show extreme love and kindness to those around, there is no greater lesson in life I've known than this.
Goodbye for now my dearest grandma, friend and roll-model, I love you so much more than I can put into words.
Love David, Jen, Abel, Aaron & Andrew Johns

Where do I begin... Some of the best times I had as kid was at Aunt Rose's house! My grandma Pat Pedrazzi would take my sister and I over to Aunt Rose's almost every summer when we were growing up. I remember she always had iced oatmeal cookies I love those cookies and till this day whenever I have some or even just see them in the grocery store I always think of Aunt Rose, god we had so much fun swimming in her pool, playing on the slot machine, and listening to her and my grandmas stories those two sure did have a lot of fun together, actually the last time I saw Aunt Rose was at my uncle Latins funeral, her and I were talking about my grandma and I remember her saying something like "your grandma was my partner in crime, God I miss that lady" that comment brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes and I'll never forget that, and I will never forget her she was an amazing woman and I know she's up in heaven right now with my grandma telling stories and having a good ol time! Rest in peace Aunt Rose!

I worked with Rose at Holex in the late 60's, she was a character, if I remember correctly she was an inspector for all the devices that were manufacturered there. Later in years we would run into each other and talk about old times. Always with a smile on her face.
My condolences to the family whom I know so well!
