Hey, Jerry. For what it's worth, I tried to take the dope war forward. I did 12 1/2 years in narcotics, and did fairly well. During my narcotics work, I thought of you and Mike about 500 times. I hope you've found a LOT of peace and quiet, but I doubt that you know my name. Anyway, you and Mike opened the door, and I did my best to run through it, as far as I could. Sleep well, brother. NFFN.

First I would like to thank my Aunt for her kind words and this forum for friends and family of a great man to convene to remember an amazing life. In remembrance, for me the last 25 years are the most significant.Unfortunately, as we all know life is complicated, and those complications lead to distance and estrangement. I am writing to address, what I see, as many missing chapters that my Aunt is not able to tell. Looking back, these years are a treasure, getting to know my Uncle as I grew older, started a family, and began to appreciate the challenges, and victories that life brings. It is certainly an impossible effort to recognize and appreciate the entirety of such a great life, it is critical to me that all who are reading this know that while the pictures and memories noted here are part of that life, they are not its full measure. He was surrounded by many not seen here that were precious to him and enriched each day of his life. For those, many of whom I know, and many that I do not, thank you for all of the joy that I know you brought to my Uncle's life. He was not just a great student and curator of our family history, but a great cast member to it. Tina, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You are an amazing woman a vital link to an incredible man. You have been a great part of my life for many years and I expect many great years to come.
