Obituary of Michelle Marie Hansen

 On Sunday, March 24, 2019, Michelle Marie Hansen, loving sister and aunt passed away at the age of 64.  Michelle was born on September 8, 1954 in Hollister, CA to Laustin “Swede” and Gertrude Freitas Hansen.  She attended and graduated from Sacred Heart Elementary School, Notre Dame High School, and Sacramento State University with a degree in Social Work.  She had a passion for dogs and cats, many of her pets were adopted from shelters or rescues.  Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Hansen.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Cynthia Hansen, sister, Janice Hansen Kennedy, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Family requests no flowers but suggest donations to your favorite pet rescue.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 27th, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Paines Restaurant, 421 East Street, Hollister.
