Obituary of Wanda S. Fisher

Wanda was born to Robert and Myrtle Rutherford on September 18, 1925, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was the youngest of seven children.  She passed away peacefully on February 28, 2019 in Hollister, CA at the age of 93 years.  The family would like to thank the staff at Mabie Northside for the excellent care and exceptional kindness during her stay with them. 

Wanda is survived by her son, James Scott and his wife Sarah; her daughter, Paula and her husband, Casey Hagins.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matt Hidalgo and his wife, Barbara and also by Josh Gonzales.  She has three great grandchildren, Nathan Hidalgo 29, Megan Hidalgo 27, and Jacob Gonzales 22. 

Wanda moved to Hollister in 1986 and really loved the milder weather here after living in Colorado for fifteen years prior to moving back to California.  She loved her family, her friends, flowers and trees in bloom and quilting.

Wanda has requested that any donations, if desired, be made to Pet Friends.
