Obituary of Jose Luis Ramirez
Jose Luis Ramirez passed away at the age of 58 on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was surrounded by his immediate family. He is survived by his two daughters, Rocio Esmeralda Rosales and Crystal Karina Ramirez, ex-wife Lourdes Lopez, son-in-law Ramon Rosales, four grandchildren Maribel, Esmeralda & Crystal Rae Rosales and Luis Angel Ramirez, and older sister Clementina Salcedo. He was the youngest of 12 children.
Jose Luis attended San Benito High School and completed a computer programming course. He was skilled in math and enjoyed gaming with his grandchildren such as playing Nintendo, XBox, Nintendo Cube, mind puzzles such as the Rubiks Cube and chess. He was a big fan of music by Michael Jackson, Jose Jose and Dyango.
He enjoyed watching football at his youngest daughter’s house, along with his daughter’s fiancée Ruben Garcia.
Jose Luis’ favorite part of his day was checking in with his grandchildren and referring to them as “Bebito” & “Amor” sharing jokes and telling them he loved them. He considered his son-in-law Ramon as his own son and they would refer playfully to each other as “Trigger.” He had a close bond with his ex-wife’s husband Antonio Aguilar and was appreciative of him for taking care of his daughters. He had a close relationship with his sister Clementina and would often leave family gatherings early to check in on her.
Jose Luis would often be found hanging out and people watching at Quick Stop. He was an amazing man and father and will be greatly missed.
