Dad will be missed so very much. He was the greatest dad that he never had to be! Apparently God needed one heck of an Angel so he called on dad. For as big of a blessing he was here I can only imagine the work he will be doing now!! He sure loved his wife, kids, grandkids, friends and animals. Best words he ever taught me, “You wish for new shoes, until you see a man with no feet!” Of coarse at 12 I was sure I wanted the shoes, as I got I older I got it. He would give all he had to help anyone in need, never knew a stranger and always wanted to share in laughter. He is the reason, along with many other selfless men and woman we have our freedom. Freedom has never been free even for those that made it back, their life was/is forever changed. Dad always taught us to Thank a Veteran, be kind, treat others the way you want to be treated and kids are going hungry in Africa! Lol. Gonna miss you so very much dad. You will forever be in our hearts

Met Bill with Joe not that long ago, it was a honor to meet him, had us laughing the whole time. Joe came home one day from seeing Bill with a little bird house/planter that he made for Jeannette for her birthday, he had n't even met her yet but that's the kind of person he was.

From the moment I met Bill he treated me like family. It touched my heart greatly. He always had a funny joke to tell and I appreciated it. When he made my mother and I a bird house in just two days time boy was I empressed! He had such a big heart and I just adored him. I will miss him greatly. His legacy will forever live on through his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My love and prayers are with you all forever.
