Obituary of Lucretia Louise Edwards

Tootsie passed away peacefully in Hollister,  surrounded by her family.  She was proceeded in death by 8 brothers and sisters, newborn son, Joey, and her sweetheart, Dale Grove.  She is survived by 3 daughters,  Karen Crutcher and Kenny of Dos Palos, Renee Altamirano and Freddie of Hollister, and Tammy Dubose and Brent of Fort Worth, TX.  Grandchildren, Aimee Wright, Jennifer Correa and Luiz, Brett Davis, Kelli Woolever and Cody,  Austin Altamirano and Natalie.  She also had 6 great grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.  Many nieces, nephews and friends.

She loved playing marbles  (Aggravation),  with who became known as “The Golden Girls” to her family, playing the slots  in Reno, knitting, crocheting and sitting on her back patio drinking coffee and visiting with friends.  There was always a pie ready and waiting,  just in case  anyone stopped by.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility -Southside, as well as to Dr. Daniel Wang for their excellent care.

A Donut and Coffee  Memorial will be held on October 18 @ 10am at the Davis Party Barn, 15510 Bryant Road, Dos Palos.  In lieu of flowers,  donations may be sent to Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility-Southside, 911 Sunset Drive, Suite 1, Hollister, CA  95023
