Obituary of Sandra J. Gowers

Sandra Joan Gowers, passed away on May 18, 2018 in Hollister CA.

Sandra was born in Burton on Trent England to O.D. and Joan Pewthers on Oct. 3^rd 1945. She grew up in Orange County and went to high school in Westminster, CA.  She worked as an Executive Assistant for many years before retiring.

Sandra is survived by her Daughter Robin Rush of Aptos and Son William E. Gowers of Hollister, Granddaughters Jordan Davis of Aptos and Jayce Davis of Kaua'i, Hawaii, Sister Felicia Crain of Reno NV Brother Kent Pewthers and Sister Donna Crispin of Riverside CA. She is also survived by 3 nephew’s Richard Crispin of Las Vegas NV, Randy Pewthers of Riverside CA Greg Pewthers Of Prescott AZ and 2 nieces Sara Milstead of Riverside CA and April Crain of Reno NV. She is preceded in death by her Husband Dale Gowers, Parents O.D. and Joan Pewthers and brother Robert Pewthers.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mabie Northside rehabilitation facility for all their loving care and to Dr Michael Wuu, Becky and all of the staff at Palo Alto Oncology & Hematology for their compassion and support througout Sandi's illness.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary/Sacred Heart Cemetery 1100 Hillcrest Rd. Hollister CA 95024 on May 25, 2018 at 2:00 with Reverend Ardyss Golden officiating. Burial will follow. Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society c/o the mortuary.
