Obituary of Frank Damien Costa
Frank was born in Hollister, California and raised on his father's dairy farm, the John Costa Dairy. He passed peacefully at Gilroy Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
He was predeceased by his parents John Costa and Elvira Crassini, by his children David Costa and Adele Costa, and by his step-brothers Joe Conconi and
Franco Conconi.
Frank is survived by his brother Benny Costa, his sister-in-laws Annabelle Conconi and Carmen Conconi Jorrick. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was a veteran of World War II, serving in Company E, 351st Regiment, 88th Infantry Division of the U. S. Army. During the service he earned his Glider Badge and Parachutists Badge as part of his airborne training.
Frank's career was in the landscape business and he continued to enjoy caring for the flowers and plants at the convalescent home while he resided there.
Services have been held at the mausoleum at the Calvary Cemetery. Donations are preferred to St. Benedicts Church, c/o 680 College Street, Hollister, CA 95023 or to your favorite charity.
