Miguel Flores Ramos

Miguel was born in Jalisco, Mexico.  He was the son of Miguel Ramos and Florencia Flores. He was the brother of Elisa, Alonzo, Consuelo, Crisanto, Luis, Herlinda, María de Jesús, Roberto, y Celia.

He was a strong and joyful man who loved love and music. He had a song for every occasion.  He sang in Hollister’s Sacred Heart church choir for many years and he managed his own mariachi band. One of his most special days was when he had the opportunity to sing to Pope John Paul II in his visit to Monterey, CA.  He looked for and found many adventures. He was a soccer player, a bracero, an artist, a farmer and a treasure hunter. He liked to fish, hunt deer, cock fights, and to watch bull fighting.

He has now finished his journey on this world but his pain has also ended. Now he begins a new life next to the Lord and his loved ones who have gone before him.

May he rest in eternal peace.
