It was my pleasure to have worked with Rose in the Assessor's Office for 8 years. She was a competent, capable, effective, efficient dedicated and loyal Office manager and employee. I have fond memories of visiting her Gabilan Ranch many times with she and Al. Rose had a guest book in her cabin for first time guests to sign. That guest book in of itself is a history book in its own way and deserving of preservation. Rose as myself loved and so wanted to protect dirt, rocks, trees, and water. The night scene from the Ranch overlooking the Salinas Valley and Monterey Bay was stunning. May she rest in peace.
