Obituary of Jessica Rodriguez

Jessica Rodriguez was born on July 30, 1999 in Hollister, to Maria Isabelle Gallo and Ruben Rodriguez. Jessica walked into the loving arms of her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on December 9, 2017 at the age of 18. 

Jessica is survived by her parents, Maria Gallo and Ruben Rodriguez; three brothers, Adrian Rodriguez, Matthew Rodriguez and Bryan Rodriguez, her sister-in-law Sarahy Rodriguez and niece Camila Rodriguez; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. While living in Salinas she attended Roosevelt. She moved to Merced with her family at the age of seven, and started school at Franklin Elementary and graduate high school at Buhach Colony High in 2017. 

Jessica has been a miracle since the age of two, she was tragically hit by a vehicle and had multiple surgeries throughout her childhood. Regardless of that she was a happy, funny, loving, caring, heartfelt girl. We want to thank God for those amazing loving years he gave us with her. She loved her parents and family very much and adorned her niece who is practically her twin. Her passions were makeup, fashion and dancing. She is very loved by her family and she will always hold a very special place in their hearts. 

Visitation will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Monday, December 18th, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, December 19th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery
