With my deepest sympathy to the Palmtag family. The Bible promises a reassuring hope for the future. Revelation 21:4 says: “and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Very soon, God promises that he will bring back to life those who have died to live on earth under his righteous rulership and humankind will never have to experience pain or death again.
My condolences are with you and your family at this time

Ms. Palmtag as I knew her was my first teacher at Willow Grove. She by far was one of the most influential educators I ever had in my life and helped pave the road for the kind of teacher I wanted to be when I grew up. She taught me to not only love literature but to appreciate all kinds of stories that made me want to explore our great big world. She touched the lives of so many children and their families. My condolences to her family. May you find comfort in knowing that even with her passing her legacy still continues with all the students she taught.

Best teacher of any grade! She was my 2nd grade teacher. Found out a couple of years later that she taught my older sister's husband in 8th grade. Always sweet and loved running into her in the store, especially when 2 of my classmates were there too! Instant reunion!! She has always had a special place in my heart. Godspeed Miss Palmtag!! You were one heck of a great lady!! Rest in love...

I met Francis when she was a teacher at Willow Grove School and I was a student. You could tell all the kids just loved her. She was very kind to everyone. She and my mother had known each other for many years and were both involved in the Historical Society. She did a lot for the community and touched many lives. I will miss her.

To the Palmtag family, we are so very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege to become friends with Frances while president of the San Benito County Historical Society and enjoyed working with her on many projects and visiting with her in her home on numerous occasions. I was always amazed at her knowledge of not only San Benito County but also of her own pioneering family. I also know and am close to the Watsonville Palmtag family, her cousins. She would truly enjoy hearing of news from Watsonville when I would see her, and it would always conjure up a little story about the family.
She seemed to have an endless amount of energy and enthusiasm when it came to attending society events and was always proud to do so. I know she loved her community, its people and her family roots. I will miss her. Peter Sonne'
