Obituary of Sara May DeRosa

Sara May passed away in Hollister at the age of 72.

She grew up ranching, and was a member of San Benito County Cattlewomen’s Association. In 2011 she was named “Cattle Woman of the Year”. Everyone looked forward to her amazing meals after working cattle at the family ranch. She was the heart and soul of the family and looked forward to the holidays, baking for family and friends. Everyone in the county looked forward to seeing her stunning holiday decorations. Sara May was loved and respected by everyone. She was a true icon in the South County Community. She will be missed by all and leaves behind her joy and great memories through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
