Obituary of Nora M. Jimenez

Preceded in death by her parents: Procopio Montoya and Juanita Escobedo; brothers: David Montoya, Al Montoya, Ruben Montoya and Art Montoya; sisters: Amelia M. Castillo and Juanita M. Juarez. Nora was married to and is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joe Jimenez. She is also survived by her sons: Trino Jimenez of Hollister and Chris Castillo of Las Cruces, New Mexico; sisters: Mary Lou Armendariz of Santa Clara and Linda Delgado of New Mexico; brother Victor Montoya of Europe; 3 grandchildren: Justin Jimenez and Ashley Jimenez of Hollister and Evelyn Castillo Urias of Arizona; 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Nora came to Hollister in 1943 at the age of 11 years old. She worked for Gilroy Foods in Gilroy for over 30 years until she retired in 1994. Nora was a member of and attended the Water of Life Christian Church for 28 years. Services will be held on Thursday, April 14th, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
