I knew Jimmie many years ago, and was sorry to have lost track of him over the years. I hope he's in a good place now dancing with the atoms.

Jimmy and I met in the late 80's. The connection was his motorcycles and cars. Jimmy taught me the importance of understanding electrical and mechanical workings. Most of all, "When there is a problem, always start with the basics." If Jimmy called and needed my help, I was there to help him and vice versa. A funny word Jimmy used for grease or grim, was "snarf". That word always made me laugh.Tina and Jimmy always had coffee or beer on hand to enjoy stories that would, at times, go on for awhile. I loved listening to every word he spoke regarding his growing up, his time in the service, and the many road trips on his BMW motorcycle. Jimmy will be in my heart and thoughts forever. Rubber down my friend.

Although I only had a few visits with Jim, his storytelling brought many laughs. Always believed we had a more spiritual connection. We shared our birthday, Jan 3rd and slightly unruly beards. He will be missed.

I am a cousin of Jimmy's and have been farming his ground in Argonia. Always looked forward to the times we had when he came back to Kansas to visit which included walking through the pasture and listening to him tell stories. He would point out, "right over there is where Frank built a dam using Mules to keep the water in the pasture", and then of course laugh as he did.
Other memories include on those visit's of Jimmy spending time with Michelle teaching her how to cook certain type of meals that she was unaware of how to prepare. To this day she still treasures the cook book he gave her years ago.
As Jimmy and I would talk to on the phone discussing and cussing the farming occupation, he was always encouraging to me just as his dad Debs had been toward me.

Jimmy is my big brother and I will miss him. We were not together often due to the distance between us but Jimmy and I enjoyed one another. He always looked out for me. I will miss our phone conversations and hear his great laugh. Bless you Jimmy. Rest in peace.

Back in 1955 when the Beals and the Marvins were packed into the little house at 1310 N 11th Street in Manhattan KS, Jimmy had to share his middle school locker with me.
He was deeply mortified when it became known to his friends he also had my pink flannel pajamas from home ec in his locker.
I will miss him.

Uncle Jimmy you were the best uncle any nephew could ask for. To each person you got to meet you have touched a lot of people by the way you were. To all who met you and got to know you on your travels. Everyone who misses you knew that your a jokester, uncle, friend, brother, husband, cousin, outlaw, rebel, storyteller, and the guy with the biggest heart. You will be miss by all for being a rare person. There is no way to describe how much you are missed. I hope your on your dream motorcycle riding were you want to be. We all love and miss you.
