Today is April 11, 2018 I haven’t I hadn’t seen AlIce in about a year and a half when I picked her up in Hollister and drove her back to Riverside to my house to get her sober and to try to help her he stayed with me a few days and I had to take you back to Hollister the hardest thing in my life was to drop you off on the streets and you promised me you would be OK and get in touch I am devastated my friend you were good kind soul and was always willing to help anyone she was one of my best friends for many many years I mentor in the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous our birthdays are in the same month and when I googled her name today my heart was broken and it will stay broken because I wasn’t there for you Ellis I’m so sorry I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you sorrow is never forever but love is my sister you’re finally with your maker God and I know you’re a piece of their please know how much I love you
