It is with great sadness and sincere warmth that I express my heartfelt condolences to Babe's family. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to know and spend time with Babe. She will always be one of my favorite people. Her kindness, humor, and positive nature made her one of those special people you come across in life and always hope to get to spend more time with. No matter how long it was since the last time I visited with her, I always felt like Babe was family. I have a few memories of her laughing while babysitting my brother and I when we were fairly young. I still laugh when I think about some of the memories I collected while working with Babe and Jim at the Hollister Elks Lodge. My favorite memory: One time, I came out of the walk-in freezer with my white apron on. Between huge bouts of laughter, Babe asked me if I had just been carrying some raspberry sorbet. I looked down at my apron and saw two small, round pink stains on the chest of my apron where the sorbet had rubbed off as I carried it. After sharing in a good laugh, Babe helped me find a clean apron so I wouldn't have to walk around the rest of the night in my embarrassingly stained one. In almost all of my memories of Babe there is laughter. This joy for life is something I will always remember about Babe and continue to express throughout my own life. I wish I could be present at Babe's service, to share just one more moment with her and her loved ones. My work situation makes this impossible, however, my thoughts and spirit will be with everyone in celebration of her life.

My prayers and thoughts are with the Littlejohn and Valdez family in the sad loss of Babe. Hearts are sad, and tears flow. But beautiful fun memories will always be with everyone who knew Babe.And she was not only fun and kind, she was a sweet woman who was always full of life.
She fought a good fight, she finished her course, she kept the faith:
there is laid up for Babe a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give her at that day: and not to her only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
And her loved ones are waiting for Babe at the great day of reunion. RIP Babe
