Obituary of Ronald Joseph Love

Ronald Joseph Love passed away suddenly at his Hollister residence on January 18, 2017 at the age of 62 years. Ron was born to Elton and Ida Love and big brother Gilbert on July 4th 1954 in Gilroy. He attended school in Gilroy and later completed the Contractor’s Apprenticeship Program at Gavilan College. He then became superintendent of a construction company in San Jose. He began his own construction company in Arkansas and worked in various parts of the southern states developing apartment complexes. Upon returning to California, he joined the family business of Love Construction. As a young man, he married his high school sweetheart Mary and they had two beautiful daughters, Lisa and Monique. He is survived by his daughters, brother Gilbert, niece and nephew Kimberly and Seth and his many great nieces Samantha, Haidyn, Scarlett and Aurora. Ron loved to spend his down time fishing and camping. He loved being outdoors and adored his friends and family greatly. He always had a special connection to animals and loved his dear kitty. In the sudden passing of Ron, his family has decided to hold a memorial lunch at Paine’s Restaurant on Friday, Feb 10th 2017 at 2 pm. His life will be remembered during this event in lieu of a traditional funeral service to honor his memory and his wishes.
