Angeline Patricia Coleman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angeline Patricia Coleman. Angeline passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 102. Angeline was 15 years old when she came to Hollister with her family. Soon after she began work at the Hollister Canning Company, then found work as a switchboard operator with Pacific Bell for many years. Angeline moved to Sunnyvale in 1962 and worked until she was 70. Her son David moved her back to Hollister in 2013 to live with him where he took wonderful care of her.


Angeline was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Carmilla Ana Paura, and her brothers Pete Paura and Joseph Paura. Sisters Rose Naccarato, Edith Naccarato, Mary Paura Garcia, Helen DeRose, Sara Davis and Evelyn Duffy. Angeline also leaves behind her son Dave Coleman, her daughter Eileen Dodd, her granddaughters Ann, Eugenia, and Renee, and three great-grandchildren. Angeline also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.


Dave would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Mabee Northside Home, especially for all the wonderful care and support given to his mom.
