Obituary of Adrian Arellano

Adrian De Jesus Arellano Acosta (Güero), 43 of Gilroy CA, was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on August 7th, 2024, in Gilroy, CA. Adrian was born in Zacatecas, Mexico to Antonio Arellano and Amelia Acosta on June 19th, 1981. He married his wife Fabiola Arellano (Zendejas) on April 25, 2009 in Hollister, CA and had 3 beautiful children during their 15 years of marriage. He worked as a Lather for the past 16 years and belonged to the Carpenter/ Lather’s Union of San Jose, CA. He enjoyed being with family, taking small trips to visit family down to SoCal or visit family in Mexico and attend family/friend’s functions, he was the life of the party, always had a smile and always made everybody feel welcomed as if he knew them for years! He was a man with so much charisma, joy and full of energy that he injected everyone. He had that great personality that would light up the room and you would know when he was in the room because he was always making jokes, being silly and or simply “bark” like a dog to get the attention of the crowd. Adrian always found a way to fix something that was broken, he liked to be that helping hand when someone needed him, he never said NO. He was there when we needed him most. He was a father, husband, brother and son who truly embodied what it meant to care for others and be there when it really mattered. Family and friends, his children AJ, Ethan and Isabella, all looked up to him while he lifted the world’s weight off their shoulders. He was a very hardworking man who devoted his life to giving everything he possibly could to his kids and wife. Nobody was there more than Adrian if anybody had a problem or something they were struggling with. His family was the only thing Adrian loved more than football and the Raiders. Oftentimes, even more than himself, Adrian never put anything above family. Nobody can fill Adrian’s shoes, but we know he will always be with us, watching over us sending his Blessings. We will always carry him in our hearts and continue his helping, caring spirit. He fought a good battle with his medical journey these past two years. He was very strong, optimistic, and we never saw him complain but instead took his diagnosis with Grace. His children, AJ, Ethan and Isabella will always look up to their father as their Hero! He belonged to the Federation of San Pablo de Colores of Pajaro, CA and Saint Mary’s Catholic Church of Gilroy, CA and Carpenter/Lather’s Union of San Jose, CA. He is survived by his wife Fabiola Arellano of Gilroy, CA. their children: Adrian J.(AJ), Ethan T. and Isabella F. Arellano of Gilroy, CA. His mom Amelia Acosta of Gilroy, CA his brothers & sisters: Ana Maria (Julio) Rodriguez of Aguas Calientes, Mexico, Juan (Fabiola) Arellano of Ensenada, Mexico, Carlos (Elvira) Arellano of Zacatecas, Mexico. Miguel Arellano of San Jose, CA, Gabriel (Alondra) Arellano, of Zacatecas, Mexico, Daniel (Marsela) Arellano of Fresno, CA, Guadalupe (Sergio) Martinez of Zacatecas, Mexico, Omar (Raquel) Arellano of Fremont, CA, and Diana (Alfredo) Gonzalez of Zacatecas, Mexico. Many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, uncles and aunts. He is preceded in death by his father Antonio Arellano. Funeral service will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Gilroy, CA on Thursday August 22 at 10am. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Hollister, CA. Visitation will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral home in Hollister on Wednesday August 21 from 3pm – 7pm with a Rosary from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Adrian De Jesus Arellano Acosta (Güero), 43 años de Gilroy CA, fue un amoroso esposo, padre, hermano, tío, hijo y amigo que falleció pacíficamente rodeado de sus seres queridos el 7 de agosto de 2024 en Gilroy, CA. Adrián nació en Zacatecas, México, hijo de Antonio Arellano y Amelia Acosta el 19 de junio de 1981. Se casó con su esposa Fabiola Arellano (Zendejas) el 25 de abril de 2009 en Hollister, CA y tuvieron 3 hermosos hijos durante sus 15 años de matrimonio. Trabajó como Lather durante los últimos 16 años y perteneció al Sindicato de Carpinteros/Lathers de San José, CA. Le gustaba estar con la familia, hacer pequeños viajes y visitar a la familia en el sur de California o visitar a la familia en Zacatecas México y asistir a funciones de familiares/amigos, era el alma de la fiesta, siempre tenía una sonrisa y siempre hacía que todos se sintieran bienvenidos como si los conociera desde hacía años! Era un hombre con tanto carisma, alegría y lleno de energía que inyectaba a todos. Tenía esa gran personalidad que iluminaba la habitación y sabías cuando estaba en la habitación porque siempre estaba haciendo bromas, haciendo tonterías o simplemente daba un "ladrido" como un perro para llamar la atención de la multitud. Adrián siempre encontraba la manera de arreglar algo que estaba roto, le gustaba ser esa mano amiga cuando alguien lo necesitaba, nunca dijo NO. Estuvo ahí cuando más lo necesitábamos. Era un padre, esposo, hermano e hijo que realmente encarnaba lo que significaba cuidar a los demás y estar ahí cuando realmente importaba. Familiares y amigos, sus hijos AJ, Ethan e Isabella, todos lo admiraban mientras él les quitaba el peso del mundo de encima. Era un hombre muy trabajador que dedicó su vida a dar todo lo posible por sus hijos y su esposa. Nadie estaba allí más que Adrian si alguien tenía un problema o algo con lo que estaba luchando. Su familia era lo único que Adrian amaba más que el fútbol y los Raiders. A menudo, incluso más que a él mismo, Adrian nunca puso nada por encima de la familia. Nadie puede ocupar el lugar de Adrián, pero sabemos que él siempre estará con nosotros, cuidándonos enviándonos sus Bendiciones. Siempre lo llevaremos en nuestros corazones y continuaremos con su espíritu de ayuda y atención. Luchó una buena batalla en su trayectoria médica estos últimos dos años. Era muy fuerte, optimista y nunca lo vimos quejarse, sino que llevó su diagnóstico con Gracia. ¡Sus hijos, AJ, Ethan e Isabella siempre admirarán a su padre como su héroe! El funeral se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María en Gilroy, CA, el jueves 22 de Agosto a las 10 a.m. Seguirá el entierro en el Cementerio Calvary en Hollister, CA. El velorio se llevará a cabo en la funeraria Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson en Hollister el miércoles 21 de agosto de 3 p. m. a 7 p. m. con un rosario de 5:30 p. m. a 6:30 p. m.
