What a beautiful story of my Aunt Alda. One story that has always had a warm spot in my heart was when I was attending San Francisco State. I was visiting one evening at their home and Aunt Alda said to me, "Jimmy, tell me anything you want me to fix you for dinner and a date you want to come over". I said, "Lasagna". It took me by surprise as no one other than my mother had ever asked me what I wanted for dinner. 46 years later I can still smell and taste how wonderful Aunt Alda's Lasagna special dinner was. Aunt Alda was a unique person who knew how to make people feel special. Uncle Yancy, Aunt Alda and their three boys, Ricky, Randy and Russell always made me feel welcome in their home and I will always cherish the time we spent together.
Jim, Jimmy, James (depending on which Wyatt I'm talking with) I answer to all three.

Alda and I met when we were both young mothers raising our children. We became fast friends and got well acquainted as the years went by. Alda and Yancy had three boys and Dave and I had three girls ! And happily we all got along so well. Our two families had many fun camping vacations together - first time camping for all of us. Alda had a great spirit and was willing to go along with whatever new adventure we thought of. I will miss her dearly and the great talks we had over the years. Sending love and blessings to her boys Joan and Dave Storman

My (Great) Aunt Alda was always someone I looked forward to seeing. Firmly kind, she believed that being good to each other was the most important thing we can do in life. Her laugh was like tinkling drops of joyous rain. Always ready to do the right thing, Aunt Alda was the very definition of a Great Lady. My Great Aunt Alda, her advice, her laugh, her hugs, her love, and her sassy jokes are all very sorely missed already. We love you Aunt Alda, and thanks for blessing the world with your lovely self. <3

Well I remember so many fond memories of Aunt Alda . Mostly at family reunions or when Grandpa and grandma would bring Shelley and I over for visits, her laugh and smile both very contagious,in good ways.
The last couple of times I was visiting over at Alda's house we talked a lot about family and how it was important to her. She would always ask how my children and grandchildren were doing, well July 28th I believe,I had my 6th grandchild !!! She would of loved to met him.
Well Aunt Alda I will miss you always, love Shannon.

I always looked forward to seeing my Aunt Alda -- as a kid and as an adult. Whether at her place, my parents' place or some other place, she took time to talk and laugh with me.

As a kid, I always remember going to Uncle Yancy and Aunt Alda’s house in Colma for New Year’s Day. We always did sparklers in the backyard. She was such a great hostess. I always felt so welcome. Years later going to their house after reunions was so fun. She always loved to laugh and have a great time. I will miss her hospitality and great times together.

My favorite memory was seeing the excitement in Aunt Aldas eyes when she would see family at reunions and when visiting with her. She always wanted to know how life was treating us and was full of advice. Memories will last a lifetime. Love and miss you Aunt Alda.
