Obituary of Raymond Ahumada
Raymond Ahumada, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, brother-in-law, and dear friend passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 46 years old. To know Ray was to immediately love him. And while he cherished his beloved Raiders, Mets, Chicago Bulls and Penguins team. His family was his first and true love. A devoted husband to Daychavon and dedicated father to Haylee, Ray got joy out of life by taking care of his family. You could often find him pouring that love into the meals he prepared- from barbeque to his infamous macaroni and cheese, he took great pride in preparing meals for all his family including his Tias, Tios, nieces, and nephews. An avid traveler, Ray had adventures near and far exploring the world and enjoying life with his wife and
daughter by his side. Ray also leaves behind a legacy professionally as he was an accountant to several organizations helping them to grow by building new systems and financial processes. A lifelong learner, Ray was always looking for ways to expand his knowledge and expertise and just one month ago proudly earned an Associate degree as a first-generation graduate. Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on through all who were fortunate enough to have had him in their lives.
Ray will forever be cherished and remembered by his wife Daychavon, daughter Haylee, Mother Graciela Soria, Siblings Yssac (Amber), Luz, Ray Charles (Victoria), Anthony (Rosalinda) numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you! When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. John 14:1-3
Per the family's request, the celebration of life will be private.
