Ahhh, my condolences. Whenever Elwood did come to church he always looked me up and always enjoyed talking with me. He always enjoyed working in his old age. I admired him for that. Yeh! I'm glad I knew him. Heavenly trails to you, my friend.

My condolences to the Dryden family. Sugar Plum was a Hollister institution. My first job was there. It was the place to be on Sunday for a dinner of fried chicken and an apricot freeze. RIP Mr. Dryden.

Condolences to the family of Mr. Dryden. So many families have great memories of the Sugar Plum Farm - from Apricot Freezes to the cute toothpicks with paper fruit on top. The world was a much better place with The Dryden's and their SPF. Thank you for all the memories, Mr. Dryden.

To the Dryden Family from Me and mine, deepest condolences and respects! He was the kindest man, always have fond memories to share when I would run into him. I would joke with him every time and remind him I was the head waiter at the Sugar Plum, then say to Elwood that I was the only waiter... Always a big smile and that glint in his eye! So happens, I have a gallon of apricot syrup, though it was crazy sometimes making these drinks, time to make some more Apricot Freeze's in memory and gratitude always, to Mr. Dryden! Thank You!

I’m sorry to hear of Elwood’s passing. He was a kind, pleasant man. I worked at the Elwood’s and Cathy’s Sugar Plum Farm in the 70s with a lot of my classmates. Later, I would often see Elwood at Tiffany Motors where I worked and would visit with him. It was always a pleasure to see him. Almost 105! Good for you Elwood!

We are so very sorry for your loss…We at San Benito Glass adored Mr. Dryden. In every aspect he was a true gentleman and such a pleasure to be around. He was kind, sweet and caring to everyone he encountered and showed his appreciation in every aspect of his dealing with people. He will so be missed…We are sure he is making Apricot Freezes for everyone in heaven now with that wonderful smile of his!

My condolences to the Dryden family. Elwood was such a wonderful human being. He was so kind and pleasant. My father Elias “Leo” Espinoza worked for Elwood at Dryden farms. He would say so many good things about him. In fact, I was named Michelle due to all the nice ladies that worked there during that time. May he Rest in Peace. God be with you Mr. Dryden.
