Obituary of Shirley Ann van Dam

Shirley Ann van Dam, was born March 3, 1934 in Hayward, California to Jess and Marie Limpo. Shirley moved to Warner Robins, GA to start a family and later returned to California where she lived the rest of her life. Shirley was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and Mom to many of her children's friends throughout their lives. While raising a family, Shirley enjoyed a long career as a stylist and cofounder of Marich, the candy company she and her husband Marinus started in 1983. Shirley loved to cook and spend time with friends as a long time league member at Santa Cruz Surf Bowl, bowling several times a week for over 30 years. Shirley is survived by her four sons Ray, Steve (Susan), Brad (Kimberlie) and Troy, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
