Pamela June Chamblin


August 7, 1956 – March 31, 2024


Pam was born in Salinas, CA to Clare and Chuck Britton. She attended local schools and lived around Hollister all her life.


From the age of 4 to 12, Pam actively participated in riding and showmanship at California horse shows.


Pam married Rick Chamblin on October 27, 1978. In 1982 they purchased the property that her parents once owned on Fairview Road, and now is the current location of St. Benedicts Church.


Pam and Rick loved the outdoors and shared a love of the water. They had a houseboat on Lake Don Pedro for 16 years which they shared with family and friends


She was in the insurance business for many years until they started their own family business.


She loved to cook, garden, and read books. Her main enjoyment was sharing God’s word.


Pam is survived by her husband Rick, her Mom Clare Devencenzi(Dick), her daughter Rochel Miller(Jeff), Son Rob Chamblin. Grandchildren, Maddie Lewis, Wyatt, and Wade Chamblin, along with one niece and 2 nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father, Chuck Britton, and daughter Stephanie. The family has requested private services
