John Jess Delgadillo

November 11, 1964 - March 23, 2024

John Jess Delgadillo, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 23, 2024 at 7:10pm at Hazel Hawkins Hospital, surrounded by friends and family.

He was born on November 11, 1964 in San Jose, CA to Jess M Delgadillo and Melva Valenzuela. He is survived by his wife Irene, youngest daughter Francisca, and granddaughter Nevaeh. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie (Nick), Robert (Angie), Anthony (Pam), Randy, Morgan. He is preceded in death by his eldest daughter Desiree, his parents Jess M Delgadillo and Melva Valenzuela, and his brother Danny.

John worked as a construction Laborer for 20 years before leaving to work on his family ranch. He loved taking trips to national parks and taking long drives. John loved to tell stories about all the different places he worked on, as we drove past them. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had the biggest heart, kindest spirit and was an all-around good guy! John had a calming demeanor that drew people to him. He was the type of person you wanted on your side; his absence will forever echo in our hearts. He loved the music of Mariah Carey, and as the lyrics of “One Sweet Day” says “And I know you're shining down on me from heaven” may this serve as a tribute to him!

Celebration of life will be held on May 3,2024 at 12pm at our residence. All are welcome. Also, his favorite color was green so if you could please wear shades of green that day.
