On January 25, 2024, James David Taliaferro peacefully passed away at his home. David was a lifelong resident of Hollister. He was a Hollister HayBaler and that is where he met his wife Ginger. Together they raised their 3 kids Gina, Lacy, and Nick. They celebrated 50 years together in 2020.

David loved the outdoors and especially loved to buck hunt. He spent time golfing with friends. He liked to team rope and taught his kids how to ride and rope. Lots of weekends were spent together at rodeos and jackpots. We miss him and love him very much and cherish the memories we have with him.

David is preceded in death by his father Jim Taliaferro, mother Pat Taliaferro, and daughter, Gina Taliaferro.

He is survived by his wife Ginger, daughter Lacy Bourdet (Wyatt), son Nick Taliaferro (Blaire), grandchildren Braydee, Emitt, Timber, Teagan, and Ty and his sister Lisa Corotto (Jim) and nieces and nephews -Erin, Katie, Kyle and Kallin.
