She is survived by her husband John, son Dan (Barbie), son David (Janae), daughter Terry (Curt), daughter Kelly and son Chris. Grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas, Jessica, Matthew, Michael, Justin, Brady, Tyler, Greg, Ashley and Jared. Great grandchildren Oliver, Everett and Jackson. Sister Patricia and nieces, Kim, Karen and Kylene. Nancy Spinosa Baptiste was born on October 11, 1942 in New Jersey to Frank and Patricia Spinosa. Nancy lived most of her life in California. She enjoyed working in real estate with her husband John, decorating her home, cooking, being with family and spending time in her favorite place, Capitola. Nancy’s granddaughter Morgan best described her grandmother, and how most of us are feeling, when she wrote this shortly after her passing- “Life won’t be the same without you. My heart will never be whole again. I’ll miss your laugh, and how long it took you to get ready. I’ll miss eating frosting for dinner and laying in you big comfy bed. I’ll miss spending hours in TJ Maxx with you and spending summers at your house. But mostly I’ll miss you hugs, and your kisses. I’ll miss hearing “I love you babygirl” and the hour long phone calls. I don’t know how to do life without you, because you’ve been there all these years. So please send me signs, to let me know that you are close by. You were one in a million Tete, I love you more that words could ever explain. I can’t wait for the day we meet again.” Nancy always found great comfort in her life through scripture and prayer. She had this beautiful Bible verse framed in her home- “Find rest, o my soul, in God alone: my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge.” Psalm 62:5-7 She will be missed by all who knew her.
