Patricia (Patty) Calleri-Webb passed away in San Francisco, CA on December 8, 2023, at the age of 83 after a short battle with Leukemia while surrounded by her family. Patty was born on April 28, 1940, to Richard (Dick) and Mildred (Babe) Chesnut in Berkeley, CA. The family moved to Hollister in 1942. She attended local schools in Hollister and graduated from San Benito High School in 1958. The Chesnut family had horses and spent time at horse events. Patty participated in the San Benito County Rodeo and Horseshow throughout her childhood. In the 1950s Patty ran for the Sweetheart Queen Contest at the California Rodeo Salinas and the Reno Rodeo. Patty was a member of The FHA (Future Homemakers of America) in high school. She also was involved with 4-H when her children were young. Patty also played for a women’s softball team in Hollister. Patty enjoyed tending to and she had great pride in her flower gardens. She looked forward to the yearly family camping trip to Chiquita with family and friends for a week-long fun vacation. Patty and Johnny (first husband) would fit in a trip to Reno or South Lake Tahoe whenever they could. One of Patty’s favorite pastimes was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Who all miss and love her. Patty is survived by her children and their spouses: Robert (Susan) Calleri of Tres Pinos, Diane (Jack) Stone of Hollister, Deborah (Frank) O’Connell of Belgrade, Montana, and William (Yvonne) Calleri of Auburn, CA. Grandchildren: Kenneth (Katherine) Calleri, Daniel Calleri, Shelby (Patrick) Vieira, Spencer (Allyson) Stone, Tyler O’Connell, Kylie O’Connell, Vinsea Geil, Taylor Hoagland, and Jonathan Calleri. Great-Grandchildren: Emily, Madison, & Charlotte Calleri, Peyton, Bristol, & Maverick Vieira, Ayvah, Scarlette, & Westlee Stone, and Chloe, Tanner, & Caden Geil. Patty is also survived by her brother Harry (Butch) Chesnut of Lemoore, CA along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and several special friends. As well as former husband Larry Webb. Patty was preceded in death by her first husband John W. Calleri, parents Richard E. (Dick) Chesnut, Mildred (Babe) Chesnut, and brother Richard H. Chesnut. Our heartfelt thanks to the ER staff at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital along with the Doctors, ICU and Transitional staff at UCSF Medical Center for taking such loving care of our mother. To honor Patty’s wishes all services will be private. Donations are preferred to the National Leukemia Foundation or a charity of your choice.
