Thomas “T.J.” William McManus Jr (1988-2023), passed away unexpectedly on August 27th, 2023 at the young age of 35. TJ was born in Oakland, California to Theresa and Thomas McManus. TJ was an energetic and curious kid. As a child, he enjoyed swimming, riding bikes, skateboarding, playing video games and playing outside with friends. TJ attended Hollister High School and graduated from Pinnacles High School in 2006. TJ went on to work in construction and sales over the period of his lifetime. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, and grandson. TJ is remembered as having a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Theresa Canez, her two sons Robert and Adrian Canez, two daughters, Daizah Deanda and Marizah Deanda, as well as their dog, Chanel. He loved to cook for them, and some of their favorite dishes included his shepard pies and enchilada casserole. TJ was a talented artist, like his grandmother, and often wrote beautiful poetry for those he cared about. His love of art was also represented by his many tattoos. TJ was intelligent and had many interests; he excelled at anything he put his mind to. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. TJ is survived by his mother, Theresa McManus; sister, Adrianna McManus and her 4 children; son, Hunter Carmona; grandfather, Aurelio Zuniga; aunt Rachel Zuniga and her 3 daughters; aunt Elaine Klauer, her three children; uncle Ronnie Klauer; uncle, Jimmy-Lee McManus (Irene); and uncle Cory McManus and his sons. A private service will be held for close family and friends to celebrate his life.
