Obituary of Cynthia Ann Gonzalez

Our dear Wife and mother Cynthia Ann Baca (Mendez) Gonzalez known as (Cindy) by her friends passed away in Hollister, CA on August 11, 2023, in her home. Cynthia was born in San Francisco, CA to Robert and Betty Baca on February 9, 1952. She went to Mt. Pleasant High School in San Jose, CA. She worked at LSI Logic for 15 years where she met the love of her life, Robert Gonzalez. Her hobbies were baking delicious Weddings, Graduation, and Birthday Cakes. She was fond of making delicious Mexican dinners and she loved to entertain family and friends in their home in Hollister. Cynthia was involved with the American GI Form and St. John Vianney Festivals. Cynthia is survived by her husband Robert Gonzalez of 33 years her daughters Felisa (Steve) Ponce-Enrile and Roberta (Manuel) Goulart and grandchildren Jessy Alvarez, Gabrielle Mendez-Valadez, Arielle Mendez- Valadez, Manuel J. Goulart, Cheyenne Goulart. Her sisters, Debbie (Eddy) Morikawa, Monica (Steve) Mayone, and Helene (Kelly) Crees. Her several loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased family in the death of her mother Betty Baca, and father Robert Baca, and her beloved son Manuel J. Mendez. Visitation will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home at 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA 95023 on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM The Funeral service will be held at 4600 Hyland Avenue, San Jose, CA 95127 on August 24, 2023, at 11:30 AM with St. John Vianney Catholic Church officiating. A reception will be held after the Funeral Service at Casa Azteca Restaurant, 20 N. Abel St., Milpitas, CA 95035. The restaurant is 15 minutes from St. John Vianney Church.
