Obituary of Natalie Miranda-Juarez

Please share a memory of Natalie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Natalie Miranda-Juárez was born on January 1st, 1952 in Hollister, California. She was the second of seven children born to Roman Miranda and Julia Venegas-Miranda in Hollister. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. After graduating from San Benito High School in 1970, Natalie attended Gavilan Community College in Gilroy, California where she was hired as a financial aid technician in 1972, six months before graduating with an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. She later transferred to the office of the Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences where she worked as a senior department assistant, and was remembered as a passionate and dedicated person to her peers and students. She is beautifully remembered by everyone who worked with her at the college and is said to have always gone above and beyond to help students, faculty, and staff. Natalie celebrated her retirement following a 42-year career at the college in 2014. In the summer of June 9, 1979, she married the love of her life, Benito Juárez. The two settled down in Hollister where they raised three daughters, Andrea Juárez-Macias, Daniela Juárez-Colton, and Alisa Juárez. Natalie was a beloved sister and aunt, whose nieces and nephews have fond memories of her treating them as if they were her own. She had enormous pride in her big family, never forgot a birthday, and always had beautiful memories to share with everyone. She cared so deeply for the people around her and made an impact on many lives, evident by the many people who knew and loved her. She became a grandmother in her later years and found a new purpose in life when her granddaughters Arriana Alexis Macias and Luna Rose Colton were born. The two girls were her pride and joy, and she proudly boasted about her babies to anyone that would listen, playing a very active role in their upbringing. Her family would like to invite her friends and loved ones to her viewing from 3 - 6pm on April 18th, 2023 at Grunnagle-Funeral Home - 870 San Benito St., with Rosary from 6pm - 7pm. A mass in honor of Natalie will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church - 1200 Fairview Rd. at 11am on April 19th, 2023. She will be lovingly laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery - 1100 Hillcrest Rd. A Celebration of Life will follow at Bonnie’s Barn / Swank Farms - 4751 Pacheco Pass Hwy.
