Even though I didn't know Katina well. I can tell you about what she was to me. To me Katina was a symbol of strength. Her rays of happiness could shine through anything. When I first meet people I usually am nervous. This was different. When I first met Katina she was inviting, and I could tell right away she was a great person. Katina is loved. I will miss her. Always in my mind.

Dear Charles and Maddy,
Words cannot begin to express the huge loss I feel for all of you. Kat was a special lady, a beautiful spirit, a loyal, caring, and loving friend. She was larger than life, with a zest for living that out-shone the stars. Kat has taken a part of us to heaven with her and left so much of her spirit behind for all of us to share.
