Sad to hear that Sal passed away too soon. We only knew each other the last few years but I will always consider him a good friend and I pray for his soul.

I will always remember Sal when Gloria and I last saw him. He had gotten into growing his own vegetables in the back yard and was excited and happy with his success. His squash were HUGE and he gladly shared them with us. They were great. I'm glad we were able to share his moment of pride and success. That left an strong impression on us of who he was at his core; a very smart yet simple man who could derive joy from working with his hands and connect with nature in a very basic way.
Although there were setbacks and adversity in his life, he managed to keep his perspective and knew the value of his family and what it mean to him. I hope my nephew can now rest in peace.

My cousin Little Sal was and will always be a brother to me. He took me every where as a kid and also took care of me. As I became a man and a father, he extended that love and kindness to my children and family. He had a huge heart and a kind soul. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Aunt Becca, David, Gracey, Jackie and Becky, we were very sad to hear the news of Little Sal. Whenever we went to visit he went out of his way to make sure that when we left we had goodies to take home. Although he was an adult, in my eyes I always saw him as Little Sal the happy child that was always getting into mischief. Rest in Peace cousin nothing can hurt you now.
