I have Wonder memories of my dear Grandma. I grew up in North Idaho, so saw my grand parents when we came to visit or they came to see us. We always got to go to the beach boardwalk and go on rides. I also remember them taking us to Santas village, the wharf in Monterey where Grandma bought me my favorite treasures which were seashells. My Great Grandma lived in Fresno and Grandma drove us to visit her along with a day at Fantasyland and the Zoo in Fresno. Grandma also took us to Woolworths and bought us kids a bag of warm cashews to snack on. Grandma's purse had juicy fruit gum for the grandkids, and she made sure we got to ride the horse outside Coronet store. I remember the gift shop at Sugar Plum restaurant where grandma bought us girls our birthstone rings. I still have mine! Grandma liked to do crafts like decoupage, and we made many holly hobby necklaces. I also remember Grandma making fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast, and her sweet tea with lunch and dinner. She was a sweet and good Grandma and I always looked forward to visiting with her. Grandma and I got to spend time together when I moved back to California in 2015. I'll always treasure our time together, our lunch dates , Sundays in church and Taco Tuesdays. I love you Grandma!!!!
