I just heard that Larry passed away last November. I am Larry's half brother. I have wonderful memories of a Big Brother who was so incredibly gifted in so many ways. He was an athlete who held several records for track and field at our high school. He was an extremely talented artist. There is still a large painting done by him in the Library at Caruthersville High School. He had a powerful singing voice and coached me several times to help me in my attempts to sing. We both sang at our mother's memorial service. He served his country in Vietnam and I remember praying for him and his safety. Later in life, I remember his love for showing Great Danes for owners at various Dog and Kennel shows. When he was in the Northwest he would connect with me and we would try to get together. Though our lives took very different paths he holds a special place in my life and heart. Many of you knew him far better than I did these past 40 years and it is a comfort to know that he had so many people who cared so much about him. On behalf of the family I want to thank all of you for bringing Larry so much joy.

I love the pic of you changing the tire and you and Mario. I took that pic and remember the good times. I will miss our talks and arguing who was going to visit who. I have such great memories. I cannot you are gone so fast. I love you Larry and hope your spirit is with us. RIP my friend.

Larry, you were loved by many. Your boldness, not afraid to say the truth. Deep inside that crazy heart of yours was a loving person that really wanted the best for everyone but you tried your best to not show that side of you. You taught me to be strong and face the world full force even though we're thrown with difficult situations. We would talk on a weekly basis about various shows on who would be eliminated from Survivor, who was the best person that might win the big money in Big Brother. I am going to miss those days. This coming Christmas and New Year are going to be the hardest since we had plans to spend that holiday with you. I know you are there with your friends and surly giving them a hard time. I know people come and go in our life but you are one that has changed my life. I miss you so much. I ask God everyday to give me strength to carry on but it has been really hard to do that. Until we see each other again you will always have a special place in my heart. I love you man.
