Obituary of Teofila Fernandez

Teofila (Tilly) Fernandez received her angel wings on December 7, 2022 at the age of 88. She peacefully passed away in her home after a battle with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband Enrique Fernandez, her children Ramon (Rosa) Rojas, Adela Rojas, Angelina Rojas, Lucy (Raymond) Perez, Joe Rojas, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son John (Rosalinda) Rojas and grandchildren Ray Perez and Joshua Rojas. Teofila was born on February 23, 1934 to Ascension and Rosalva Garcia in Tecate, Mexico. Tilly grew up on her family ranch in Tecate and later settled roots in Hollister. She married her husband Enrique Fernandez in 1979. Tilly will be remembered as the most warm and loving woman who had the brightest personality you can ever imagine. Never negative, always giving and making the best of every situation describes just a few of her amazing attributes. When not at her home either in Hollister or Tecate you could find Tilly making the most delicious meals, playing the slot machines at the casino or spending time with her family. Teofila leaves behind an incredible legacy and will forever be in our hearts.
