I am so sorry to hear about Felix passing away. I was just talking about Johnny's Barber Shop, I can see them all cutting hair, talking back and forth. Felix's pinky fingers sticking out when he used the scissors. I was wondering where Felix was and feel so bad to learn that he was at Mabies. I loved it when he would stop by, and he always had some deal that he was touting. He is one of those who will be remembered by us for a long time. He was the nicest guy. The Solanos have left a great legacy here in Hollister. My sincere condolences to all.

MaryLou and Dennis, sending our condolences to you and the family. I’ve know you and Peacho since I was a child living on the same street for many years. He would try and keep the kids growing up on the block in order so we wouldn’t get to any trouble. Talked to us a lot about sports which a lot of kids played. When we grew up he would come by the house with his nuts and jerky. The good old days. All of us kids always recognized him coming down the road in his white car that he loved with all his fire equipment in his car.
RIP Peacho!
Love,
Sylvia, Dave Brooks and family

Picho- many memories of you during our time at the Holllister Fire Department as volunteers under Chief Tony Aguirre. You created many memories for many of us. Rest in peace.

Oh Dear Peacho I’m so very sad that you have left us. You were always such a dear friend to my family, calling or dropping in to San Benito Glass just to make sure that we were all doing well. You were the quintessential volunteer for the Hollister Fire Department for so many years, always with that amazing smile. My thoughts, prayers and sadness along with big hugs to you all.
