Obituary of Joyce Macedo

Joyce Nadine Macedo passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born in Allison, Colorado on February 26, 1931, to Bertha and Robert Jones. She was the 5th of their eight children. Joyce moved with her family to San Jose, California in 1942 when she was 12 years old. She has lived in Hollister, California for the past 30 years. Joyce is survived by her son Timothy Macedo and his wife Silvia, from Chula Vista, Ca, her daughter Valerie Ortega from Hollister, Ca, and her step-daughter Susan Rynearson from Joseph, Ore, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She loved reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. Grandma regularly donated to several charities, but one close to heart was supporting Native American tribes.
