Obituary of Romulo A. Valdez

Romulo A. Valdez, age 93 died peacefully on 11/5/16 after a long battle with Cancer and Stroke, Mr. Valdez is survived by 6 children, Leticia Foronda, Romulo Valdez Jr., Evangelito Valdez, Florence Valdez, Edison Valdez and Rosalie Maybell Valdez. He also leaves behind 15 grand children, and 18 great grandchildren. Romulo proudly served his country in the Army (Philippine Army), a WWII veteran, received commendations for his dedication and bravery. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him as his friends and family will attest. After the war, he was assigned to guard the Malacanang Palace of the President. Attended Law School and attained a degree in Bachelor in Laws. He retired from the service and- worked for an Insurance firm and took the position of Manager. He retired from the position and migrated in the United States. Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Benedict Church on Monday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. Interment with full military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
