George J. Dias Jr passed away on August 11, 2022 in Stanford, CA. George is survived by his sons, Geo A. Dias (Donna), Mark Dias (Rhonna), and Todd Dias (Jennifer). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Dayna, Mimi, Samantha, Riley, Everleigh, Kayson, Braydon, Nolan, Morgan, and Jack and several great nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara G. Dias, his father George J. Dias Sr. (Zeke), and his mother Evelyn (Tudy) Dias.
George bought the gas station right out of High School in 1958, which he named Dias Chevron. George was an active member in the community, he was involved in the San Juan Rod & Reel Club, Original Fiesta Rodeo & BBQ Committee in which he was in charge of the takeout station. He was on the San Juan planning commission, San Juan School board, manger of Little League, volunteer fire chief, original member of the Padres Car Club, member of the Holt House Deer Club and Breen Caldera Deer Club.
