Sending our sincerest condolences to Ann and the family of Gloria Popowski. While we did not see her often but when we did, she would always ask about our children and let us know that she kept them in her prayers. During the past few months, we were able to see her twice during a birthday celebration and while we were at a shoe store trying on all kinds of shoes. We had some good laughs and off we went without buying any shoes. I will always remember her of her kindness and love for my brother and sister in law, Henry and Jennie Solorio. May she rest in peace with our Lord.

To Gloria's family. We are very sorry and send our condolences at your moms passing. She was a very special and loving lady. Always thinking of others and praying for them. Loved seeing Gloria with mom and her other friends after the daily mass at Sacred Heart Church. They would be enjoying their coffee and conversation at Mc Donalds. Lots of laughs and sometimes deep discussions. I will always remember her great smile and her gentle nudge whenever she sat behind us at Sunday mass. Gloria was such a good friend to our mom, Marcellina, her calls and visits always were appreciated. I am happy that she was able to help mom celebrate her birthday, this past May. And give mom a wonderful hug at the bakery. Your mom was SO very devoted to Our Lord and His Blessed Mother. We know that Gloria will be smiling down on us all and praying for you . Until we meet again Gloria! We love you !

Gloria was like a second mom to me. She & I called each other often to check on one another. She was a very caring, loving & nurturing person. We had many laughs & shared a few fun outings together with our church friends. Her smile was contagious. I will miss you tremendously. R.I.P. Gloria.

Gloria will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness. She told me once about how much she loved surprising her husband Bob with a new shirt or tie and that just seeing his happy expression made her happy. She was always so kind to her colleagues, students and their families. Our son Steve enjoyed her as his teacher and has fond memories and I have so many good memories as being blessed to be her colleague. She was such a special person. Condolences to her family.

My dear friend Gloria, I will miss you so much. You always kept me in check at 4:30 Mass. It became a habit to report to you if I would not be attending mass due to a family function or other commitment. First Friday’s at St. Francis Retreat were also required and you always reminded me not to miss them. How you loved to tease me! I will miss your sense of humor and the example you set of being a true and faithful Catholic. Our last mass together was a few day before your passing. How blessed I was to have you as a friend and sister in faith. To Gloria’s family, thank you for sharing your mother’s love and friendship to her church family. She has left a void in the lives of those who loved her. ❤️

Dear Family of Gloria,
Tom and I were shocked to hear of Gloria's sudden death. We saw her a few weeks ago at Paines with two of her friends and we had a nice visit. We both thought how good she looked. I am so sorry that your Mother passed as she was always so thoughtful and nice to be with. You probably know I taught with your Father at Rancho for 5 years. Our rooms were right next door so we spent many hours together. Your Mother loved her church and was one of the most devout Catholics I have ever known. She always gave time to other people and their needs. I am happy to say I knew her and she was a friend.
