Obituary of Samuel B. Canela
Samuel B. Canela passed away July 13, 2022, in Hollister, he passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 36.
Samuel was born and raised in Hollister Ca. on September 16, 1985. He was the son of Prospero G. and Elvia B Canela. Sam had one son, Samuel “Sammy” Canela Jr. Sammy was his pride and joy and loved to spend time with him.
Sam has 6 brothers and 3 sisters; Sergio, Jaime, Maria, Martin, Agustin, Mario, Ricardo, Sandra, and Norma. He had 25 nieces and nephews. Sam was the youngest of the ten siblings.
Sam growing up loved going camping with family and friends. He also loved the adrenaline for speed. Enjoyed riding dirt bikes out in the backyard or Hollister Hills. Always rode his dirt bike with his hat backwards. Never in fear of falling off and when he did he always got back up. Sam loved to Bbq, dance, and listen to music. Sam would sing to any type of music, but more to corridos.
Sam was a Plumber and loved his line of job.
Sam will forever be remembered by his son, and siblings. You will forever be missed Brother!
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 4th from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
On Friday, August 5th, family and friends will meet at St. Benedict's Church at 11:00 am for a Mass of the Resurrection. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
