Obituary of Maria Elena Ramirez

Maria Elena Ramirez daughter of the late Norma and Joseph Melendez was called home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2022. She was 66 years old and was born on June 26, 1955 in San Jose, CA. Elena was a single mother who instilled in her daughter (Juliana) strength and love, she was a social person who loved to be around people and was open minded and accepting of everyone who crossed her path. She was a woman of strong faith and was always ready plant the seed of God’s love. On the other side, she was also someone who really enjoyed life and had a book of stories about her youth and “the disco days”. Elena loved music and really enjoyed disco and Mexican music, always ready to dance and get the party started! She always believed that one should enjoy your life to the fullest. Elena always had a contagious smile and always was ready to get everyone to have a good time regardless of the situation. One of her favorite past times was going to the beach with friends and family to barbecue and enjoy the sun and waves. She is loved and her spirit will be missed, one day we will all be gathered together to reunite in heaven to be with our Lord and Savior for eternity. Maria Elena Ramirez is survived by her daughter Juliana Martinez and granddaughter Gisselle Zelena Martinez. A Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, April 20th at San Juan District Cemetery.
