Obituary of Corina Galvan Cardenas

Our beloved mother Corina passed away on November 25, 2021 in San Jose, California at the age of 57 years. Corina was born in Hollister, California on August 23, 1964 to David and Olivia Cardenas. She grew up and lived in Hollister all her life and attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School in 1982. Throughout her life, Corina made many life-long friends in her jobs at San Benito Health Foundation and San Benito High School. She will be remembered for her personality, love for life, and most of all; her beautiful smile. She is survived by her father David Cardenas Sr.; children: Yolanda (Rudy), Ricardo (Megan), Sergio, and Mario Antonio (Denyse); grandchildren: Rudy III, Nathan, Dominic, Nikolas, Myles and Audrey; siblings: Elsa, David Jr. (Alisha) and Priscilla. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Olivia Cardenas. Corina will be missed by many who loved her and whom she made laugh. Family and friends will gather at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life that will begin at 11:00 a.m.
